About Isis Monteverde

Isis Monteverde is a British wellness professional and yoga expert. Although she was born in St Ives, Cornwall, she currently lives in Bali, Indonesia. For the past 20 years, Isis has been working as a professional life coach, drawing on her yoga, meditation and mindfulness training to help her clients live more fulfilling and balanced lives.

Even before she began her work as a professional life coach, Isis Monteverde was a yoga educator, completing her yoga training in Bali. This gives her over 20 years of experience as a yoga practitioner and many years as an educator. Despite choosing Indonesia as her eventual home, Isis has spent time in many countries within Asia. She loves to travel and explore new places throughout the world, travelling extensively throughout her life. Her wanderlust took her across Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia and Singapore before she finally settled in Bali as her favourite place in the world.

Work, Travel and Philosophy

During her years living, working and learning in Bali, Isis has developed a powerful affinity with the Balinese way of life. The unique Balinese living philosophy includes powerful concepts such as Tri Hita Karana and the overarching principle of harmony. Her understanding of and passion for Balinese culture blends perfectly with her work as a life coach, allowing her to understand each client holistically as a unique, whole person. Just as Isis found a sense of belonging in Bali, life coaching encourages her clients to attain a sense of belonging and fulfilment in their own lives.

In addition to her work as a life coach, Isis Monteverde is also a committed vegetarian. She has a passion for food and loves to cook, exploring new recipes and cuisines inspired by her extensive travels. As a wellness professional, she has a deep interest in health and fitness, and nutrition is extremely important to her too. Alongside her work as a life coach, she continues to practice yoga, meditation and mindfulness, as well as Pilates, Tai Chi and body strength training.
